Ground school is a preparatory course offered to cadets that prepares them for the glider and power pilot scholarship summer programs.
Glider and Power are already done for 2023. This course is to prep you for next year and beyond depending on your age. In order to write the official exams for these courses, you must be 16 years of age.
Topics include:
- theory of flight
- air navigation
- meteorology
- air law
- engines
- general aeronautical knowledge
- radio communication.
All cadets are welcome to take this 6 week course. It will be held on Sundays at the Legion, 60 Legion Court, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Maximum number of participants is 30.
